The Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden is the second oldest zoo in the United States, founded in 1873 and officially opening in 1875. The zoo houses over 500 animals and 3,000 plant species.

The Cincinnati Zoo is one of the finest in the nation. During the winter, they have a Holiday Light Show. The zoo houses over 500 animals and 3,000 plant species. This year also features a Happy Zoo Year on December 31 which sounds super fun.
