Similar to Waitrose (which we don't have up here). Lots of local and organic produce, as well as all the staples, just a short drive away in Milnthorpe, a small historic market town. Market day is Wednesday.Tesco, Aldi ad Booths also in Carnforth.

A good quality mid sized supermarket selling local produce. Branches in Milnthorpe and Carnforth. Tesco, Coop and Aldi supermarkets are in Carnforth

This little supermarket is the north's answer to upmarket supermarket shopping. Jay Rayner actually describes Booths as a cross between Waitrose and a farmer's market, being stocked to the rafters with great local produce as well as high end brands.
