A little bit further to drive to, but a beautiful castle to walk around. There is also a steam railway line to Tenterden for a special day out.

Perfect princess-castle about a 25min drive from the flat. Great for kids to stomp around and you can get a great lunch at the Royal Oak which is opposite. National Trust members get free entry.
