Tipp für eine kurze Wanderung: vom Berghotel Mummelsee aus weiter auf die Hornisgrinde (1163 m ü.d.M., höchster Berg im Nordschwarzwald). E: Great panoramic view over the Rhine valley to the Vosges (French mountains) and to the southern part of the black forest. Good for a short trip by car and to admire the sunset. If you want to take a small hiking tour, walk up to the Hornisgrinde starting from Berghotel Mummelsee. Hornisgrinde (1163m above sea level) is the highest peak in the northern part of the black forest.
