Great place to enjoy the giant Elephants very closely. It is dry monsoon forest which bounded in Rathnapura District. Guests could attract Water Buffalo, Spotted Deer, Sambur Deer, Black-naped hare, Mongoose, Fox are some of animals. There are many Elephants in Udawalawe National Park which bounded to large reservoir. Also during the safari there is a possibility to have some small rest inside of the jungle. Udawalawa habitat for many reptiles as well as snakes. Morning and evening are the best times to visit the National Park. On the other hand leopard also found in this amazing land. Places that specially made for having camping experience will bring more unforgettable and enthusiastic

it is one of the best places in Sri Lanka to see elephants. There are about 500 in the park in herds of up to 50 almost always visible at close contact
