We have some of the best beaches and if you surf it's your paradise. Local surf spot is right down the street. You can stroll or run or bike the strand all the way to Santa Monica. There are hikes nearby and all the beach activity you can ask for. The downtown area is Riviera Village. It's cute and quaint with great local shops and restaurants. It's walkable and family friendly. There is a Trader Joes and Vons nearby for easy grocery shopping. All you need at your fingertips including spas, nail and hair salons, bike rentals and more.

RIVIERA VILLAGE (1800-1900 Catalina Blvd): This is the heart of Redondo Beach. From here, you can walk to the Esplanade to join the other walkers, take a jog on the beach or enjoy a swim in the ocean. This area is packed with great restaurants, Trader Joe’s, coffee shops and cute boutiques. Sunday mornings there is a farmer’s market across from Trader Joe’s. Some of our favorite spots include Yellow Vase and Good Stuff (for breakfast and lunch,) Coffee Cartel (for coffee or tea any time of the day,) Rockefeller, Rebel Republic, Redondo Beach Brewing Company and Mexican. Riviera (for outside lunch and dinner or a drink) and for vegan and vegetarian food we love Green Temple. Or you can grab a sandwich at Sacks on the Beach and head to the Esplanade to watch the sunset.

Blue Salt Fish Grill is close and it delivers. They have a great menu for adults and kids. Have great healthier options with great fish and salad dishes and a great ceviche. Open for lunch and dinner.
