Lovely day out at Almond Valley farm, loads for children, amazing scenery.

An outdoor wonderful place for children to play and to clamber and explore the gloomy corners of an old shale oil refinery. Across in Charlesfield, within the Bones and Stones tent, you can turn you hand to archaeology and unearth skeletons and secrets hidden beneath the sand.

I can’t give a personal recommendation because we don’t have little ones so haven’t been. But this does look great for kids.
