Garey Park was a gift to the City of Georgetown from a local family. This 525 ranch was the homestead of Jack and Camille Garey. Some examples common park activities include, running, jogging, dog-walking, biking, horseback riding, exercising, cooling off at the splash pad and relaxing. We enjoy hiking down by the river. A brand new 576 Acre Park with all the amenities, newly opened in 2018. Also features miles of equestrian trails that we regularly visit.

Amenities at the park include a playground, a splash pad, a dog park, an equestrian arena, the Garey House event space (rented separately), pavilions, two fishing ponds, 4.7 miles of hiking trails, and 4.2 miles of equestrian trails.
