Wonderful green yo sit next to the Charles River and watch the hosts and people! There are kayak rentals as well as paddle boards if you'd like to get on the river.

Our favorite place in Boston! This beautiful area of Boston is the 17-mile stretch of land along the banks of the Charles River. To many people, this area is known as the Esplanade, especially near the Hatch Shell (great place for food). There are paths that run the entire stretch that make for a glorious place to walk, jog, rollerblade, bike or just get some sun and people-watch. Whether your interest is canoeing or ice skating, baseball or in-line skating, the Charles River is a beautiful resource. There is also a terrific new playground for kids to enjoy. Bonus: Nightshift Brewery has a pop up tenting area.

Very pretty all year round along the riverside. Great for walking, canoeing, and plenty of bike trails.
