Markleeville survived the Tamarack fire. She's worth a day trip! Check that the hot springs are open: there's a hot pool and a cold pool.

Nice natural hot springs, for relaxing in the natural outdoors. Historical and highly economical. If you enjoy hot springs, this is a must on your list.

Simple, natural/developed hot springs with 2 pools, showers, camping, hiking, waterfall, river and meadow. No amenities, cash only. Closest town Markleeville with all the basics.

Absolutely a must if your anywhere near Markleeville to experience the warm and wonderful natural Hot Springs and poo!l
