The White House at the top of Blackstone Edge is a welcome sight for walkers on the Pennine Way long distance hiking trail. With stunning views over the whole of Manchester and the Cheshire plains its a wonderful place to start and finish a walk along this section of the footpath towards Studley Pike, or up to the gritstone edge from which Black Stone Edge gets its name.
