Just down the road from the property is the Eastern Neck Wildlife Refuge, a 2,285 acre island refuge that offers wildlife viewing as well as expansive hiking trails with beautiful views of the Chester River and Chesapeake Bay.

Has great walking trails and views of many bird species that vary throughout the year. Good for kayaking as there is a water trail.
