Nice moderate trail along the North Fork of the Nooksack with beautiful trees and views of the incredible rapids. This is an advanced kayaker's paradise but accessible for an easy walk. You may have to climb over some downed trees until the Forest Service cleans it up (we did some basic maintenance with hand saws).

This is a short an easy hike that meanders along the edge of the Nooksack River. There are benches at one of the larger rapids to take a rest and enjoy the beauty of this gorgeous river. Occasionally you can also catch adventurous kayakers running this rapid. Please check All Trails or Washington Trail Association for directions to the trailhead, hiking time, difficulty rating, and current trail reports.

1.8 Miles east of Glacier on Hwy 542. Trailhead is on the right side of the road after you cross the bridge over the Nooksack. Mostly flat, following the Nooksack river (about 2.4 miles round trip)
