A great modern golf course, about an hours drive from Santiago do Cacem along a winding road passing rice farms and beaches on either side.

Another idea is to take a golf vacation. The Troia course, designed by the famous American architect Bobby Jones, is truly integrated into the landscape, and great for the experience of a real golfing challenge. It is on the list of the best golf courses in Europe and is part of some international competitions. It's premptory to say that this green, between the Sado Estuary Natural Reserve and Serra da Arrabida, is the most difficult course in Portugal, but at he same time very beautiful. There are 18 holes, par 72 and 6,317 meters long along the beah, with views of the sea.
