50 miles from the cabin, it would make for a long day trip but if you stop in here (near I-17 on the 260 just NW of Camp Verde) on your way up, you won’t be disappointed! It is in the desert, so probably not a great summer destination but if you’re headed up any other time of year, then it’s a great time to visit Out of Africa.

While we haven't yet checked this out, I have read great reviews and felt like adding this for anyone thinking about exploring the Camp Verde area!

About 15 min. from the apt. Only wildlife park of its kind in AZ. Zip line to boot!
