"Thiasos" (at historical center of Kalamata), it's a traditional place for enjoying great mezes (small dishes) by drinking ouzo, tsipouro or whatever else you want.. Tip: We suggest you try a pork with potatoes in the oven as it is the dish for which they are reputed and it is delicious..

the cook is a poet using instead of words ingredients of the Greek kitchen, some of them from his own gardens. Sometimes (usually Thursdays) some small group will do some life music.....greek of course
