Vitengarden is a combined museum and science centre, telling the rural history of the region of Jæren. Through interactive exhibitions, children and adults have hours of fun exploring together. Vitengarden consits of exhibition indoors and outdoors. There is a museumfarm next to the main building. Meet the animals that were common on a farm in Jærenin the 1850s such as cows, hens, horses, geese, pigs and sheep. The children also enjoy to jump in the high at the farm. Throughout the year, themed activity days are held at Vitengarden. These days, the farm often offer the guests traditional food.
