Easy and beautiful trail along the river, shady and cool even during summer! A little crowded during high season. If you are looking for a more private walk/hike options check out my other recommendations.
It's a great for trail running or walking for delicate knees. Makes for a 3.5 mile loop if you go all the way to the sign. You're running or walking the entire time with the sound of river. Positive energy everywhere.
An easy hike thru our beautiful Smoky Mountains just at the end of the Parkway in Gatlinburg. 2 miles to the visitor center. Once you get there, travel the extra .5 miles up to Cataract Falls. This is the only trail that dogs are allowed on as well.
Easily accessible and suitable for everyone. Nice meandering walk along the river, just inside the National Park boundary.
