This is must while in Morgantown! Great overlook and plenty of hiking trails. It is a great way to immerse yourself into the great outdoors of West Virginia. I would recommend hiking the Henry Clay Iron Furnace trail and checking out the overlook at Sunset.

A short 22 minute drive from downtown Morgantown will lead you to an amazing state forest. Coopers rock provides free entrance and free parking. Rock climbers, mountain bikers, and the amateur hikers can find plenty to do here. Don’t forget to check out the main overlook!
