The hotel bar serves up cocktails named for famous "mama" movies, like "Mommy Dearest" or "Y tu Mama Tambien." The bar’s motto is “Mama says let’s have a drink!” As if that weren’t cool enough, on warm nights you can dance under the stars, play foosball, and they sometimes have free movie nights. Try the Mama Mia! It’s a vodka with almond syrup and cherry bitters and a cherry Lifesaver garnish.

In a very trendy boutique hotel. Has a restaurant downstairs but rooftop bar is REALLY cool and you can order food up there and also play some games. I would recommend going during the afternoon on a weekday when it isn't packed. Great view of the Hollywood sign from the rooftop. Great place to end at if you go do the Hollywood Walk of Fame area.

Mama Shelter is a hotel rooftop bar/restaurant and come weekend afternoons, there isn’t a harder place to get into in Hollywood. But if you can sneak in during an off-time (weekday evenings) you’ll find a big roof space with solid cocktails, good snacks, and some of the best people-watching in town. Seeing the sun set over the mountains doesn’t hurt either.
