In Carmel: the Little Swiss House for breakfast (long lines on weekend); Carmel Bakery has cannoli; and Flaherty's Seafood. In Pacific Grove: Vivolo's for clam chowder; Il Vecchio, Italian across the street; Peppers (Mexican); Passion Fish; the Beach House at Lover's Point; FishWife in Pebble Beach. All require reservations. Breakfast in Monterey: the Wild Plum, organic & very fresh food. Beach House at Lover's Point has a cheaper prix fixe menu from 4:-5:30. You have to go in person for that. Otherwise, the Beach House & these others require a reservation. Make it the night before if possible.
