After a day exploring everything Ayrshire has to offer (be it history, culture, walking, seaside or golf) settle down in front of your roaring log burner or enjoy a drink on the private deck. Watch as the sun sets over the hill in front of you. Then, above you on a clear night, the Milky Way and a myriad of constellations appear. Truly rested, fall asleep in comfort & silence.

Craigiehall Temple (historic property built 1759)

Make you trip to Edinburgh truly memorable with a stay at Craigiehall Temple. Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, it's Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. A plaque on the wall carries a quote from Horace: "Dum Iicet in rebus jucundis vive beatus", "Live happy while you can among joyful things". We hope that a stay at the Temple will deliver this experience and stay true to this vision.

The Wee Cottage by the Ferry

Our fully refurbished Wee Cottage offers incredible views over the River Clyde. Only 30 minutes from Glasgow and seconds from the ferry to Dunoon & Argyll highlands, you can spot seals & porpoises while you watch the sun set. There's a double bedroom upstairs and comfortable double sofa bed in the living room, fully equipped kitchen, free private parking, and we include a wee breakfast as well. Watermill Nook is set on the grounds of our charming former working Listed Watermill and is a romantic, cosy cabin ideal for guests who want to relax and unwind. The beautiful, fairy lit, private woodland garden set high above the River Mar is a special place in which to immerse yourself in nature, birdsong and the blissful sounds of the babbling river. As dusk falls, cosy up around the firepit or light the cabin wood burner, planning your next adventure exploring fabulous Loch Lomond.

This 1978 Airstream is fully re-built by your hosts in a private 1/2 acre glade with a stream running through, wood-fired hot tub, outdoor chill zones: tiki bar, fire pit with hammocks and covered deck. All exclusive use. This one-of-a-kind Airstream conversion is bright, quirky & cozy with wood stove, king bed, sofa bed, plumbed wetroom, full kitchen + even doorbell! Retro made perfect.

The Snug.

Situated in Middlemuir Heights Holiday park ten minutes from Ayr. It's a tranquil and mostly residential park in the lovely Ayrshire Countryside. There are woodland walks nearby and it is a short drive to the coast. This accommodation is more suited for couples or families wanting a quiet break. The cozy static caravan has a small deck to the side with seating. There is 5G Wifi and a tv in the sitting room. There is a bar and restaurant in the village a ten minute walk away.

Mary Queen of Scot's chamber at Neidpath Castle is perhaps the most romantic place to stay in the Scottish Borders. Explore privately the whole castle and then retire to enjoy your suite rooms. The antique four poster bed, deep roll top bath and open fire evoke earlier times, but are truly comfortable and luxurious. An elegant table is set for breakfast. Peebles is 10 minutes walk away, with a host of shops and restaurants, as well as a museum and award winning chocolatier.

Kyle Lodge at The Old Church, secluded retreat

Kyle Lodge is our new one bed lodge set in the private grounds of our larger property, The Old Church (which sleeps 12). It is a private and exceptionally comfortable space featuring a roll top bath with views of open countryside. The secluded and sheltered covered decking area with woodburner allows you to enjoy nature all year round. The local grocery shop is a 5 minute walk, with many restaurants and outdoor attractions only a short drive.
