The house features a comfortable bedroom and a light, airy sleeping loft, combining charm and comfort. Watch spectacular sunsets with a cold drink in hand, listen to the birdsong, and fully recharge. Just a short stroll to the beach, cafes, and shops, with walking and biking tracks nearby—including the stunning Abel Tasman National Park—this is truly a dreamy coastal escape.

Birdsong Cottage is a small self-contained house in a private and organic forest-garden oasis. Wake to an abundance of birdlife and an inspiring dawn chorus. Enjoy a 5 minute walk to Collingwood’s Courthouse cafe, art studios, and long sandy beach. Ideal for a restful and creative retreat, or as a base to explore Golden Bay’s famous wilderness tracks and beaches. Enjoy the local Courthouse Cafe, and an evening at the popular Mussel Inn before hiking or biking the Heaphy Track.

Studio is in the middle of a farm area, away from main road, self contained unit offers a peaceful, spacious, relaxed stay. 1.6k from Takaka township, close to cafes, bars and shops. 10k to Pohara Beach. Studio unit has an accessibility ramp, wet floor bathroom and queen bed . A lovely covered deck area offers a place to relax and barbecue Tea, coffee, sugar and milk provided on arrival. (Breakfast not included) small kitchenette with a variety of cooking appliances .
