Here at The Lodge pubs/cafes are just up the road or you can relax on the decking with a glass of wine from the local vineyards. A charming apartment located within the Grade 1 listed Layer Marney Tower! This apartment is situated within the main building of the Tower but benefits from its own private entrance and is completely self-contained. The apartment comprises an entrance lobby with a small kitchenette (microwave, fridge, kettle, tableware for 2), a 5-piece modern bathroom (shower, bath, toilet, sink, bidet) and a magnificent master bedroom with a huge four-poster bed. A perfect romantic getaway in the country!

This spacious Victorian cottage is a great base to explore the coast , walk, birdwatch or paddleboard. Situated in the traditional fishing village of Tollesbury the cottage has a lovely dining area, fully stocked kitchen, two large bedrooms and garden. We’re a 5 minute walk from the water and access to miles of coastal seawall walks and nature reserves looking over the river Blackwater. Tollesbury is a popular place in summer with a saltwater swimming lido and many water based activities.

St George’s Cosy Cabin with Jacuzzi Hot Tub

The cabin is situated behind our house down a privately owned lane surrounded by woods and farmland. It consists of 1 double bedroom but can easily sleep 2 adults and 2 small children. Cot and highchair available. 2 single airbeds with additional bedding and pillows. It boasts a large patio with quality furniture solely for guests' use. The jacuzzi is an added luxury and £15 is requested during your stay if used. There's a large fully stocked pond Guests are welcome to feed the fish.

With its own beachside garden and breathtaking uninterrupted views of the wildest of Essex creeks and marshes, the cottage is only to be reached on foot atop a sea wall. The perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The last in a row of westerly facing cottages, perfect to watch the evening sun go down . From the front garden or even laying in bed, watch the tide slip in and out, the fishing boats come and go and live, for a while, in a world moving at a slower pace.
