Wee Nook- a Hobbit Hole

Wee Nook is a 360 square foot living space with a full kitchen and bathroom. It is tucked underground in the middle of the woods. Please come enjoy the woods, farm animals, trails, pond and wide open space while you're here! As JRR Tolkien said: “In a hole in the ground there lived a hobbit. Not a nasty, dirty, wet hole, filled with the ends of worms and an oozy smell, nor yet a dry, bare, sandy hole with nothing in it to sit down on or to eat: it was a hobbit-hold, and that means comfort.”

The Phoenix official Earthship cannot be compared to any other rental in this world. This home’s jungle greenhouse creates its own microclimate in the high mountain desert and is completely off-the-grid, exquisitely detailed and outfitted with modern amenities. The outer greenhouse features towering banana trees, grape vines, birds, turtles and even a fish pond. The inner living spaces are cozy and quiet. Secluded Stone Cabin w/ Wood-Fired Hot Tub

Peaceful and secluded retreat to unplug and unwind. This off‑the‑grid experience has no electricity or flushing toilets, we do provide the essentials: running hot water, an outhouse, all the firewood you will need and propane lighting. Stay includes access to a handcrafted, wood‑fired hot. Four-wheel-drive, or high-profile two-wheel drive vehicles are needed to get to the cabin. We must greet guests at arrival to show you how to use the propane lights.

Know before you book! Unique, Nature immersion stay. Rural location near Nashville, TN. Private gated driveway separate from owner’s driveway. Forest stay in underground cedar Gully huts where you walk between structures and separate bathhouse. You won't run into anyone, this is a secluded getaway. Collect eggs, pick berries or hang out by the fire pit, hike to the creek and waterfalls, but don’t forget to pack bug spray and a sense of adventure!
