This cosy cottage is close to everything, making it easy to plan your trip, wander the shops, galleries, the river trails and sites of Yass Valley or Canberra. If you love live music, local wine, whisky or gin, this is a great valley to explore. For fishing, bring your gear or boat for the river, the dam or a nearby lake. For those who are sensitive to traffic noise, we provide earplugs.

The Stables @ Longsight

The original stables at historic Longsight have been lovingly restored and converted to luxury boutique accommodation. Many of the original features have been preserved such as the exposed wood rafters, weatherboards, iron roof and facade. Even the original saddle racks remain in the bathroom and old framing timber has been repurposed into a beautiful kitchen island. Perfect for couples or families looking for a relaxing country getaway.

Most rooms in the house enjoy the magnificent views of Sunshine Cove, looking across the bay to Long Beach and further out to Pigeon House Mountain. The indoor living area flows out to the expansive entertainment deck, creating an ideal setting for relaxed entertaining. You will enjoy beach access from a walking trail. We don't except bookings for SCHOOLIES or Parties.

Your retreat is a private ABSOLUTE beachfront home on three levels, with ocean panoramas everywhere you look. There is not a road, power line, fence or cliff to separate you from the ever-changing ocean, and your secluded cove-beach just 30 steps below. ONE host with just ONE home. Total focus on your visit. I am not able to welcome or host PETS as there is no fencing, with sensitive ocean reserve public land adjoining.
