Fantail Cottage, is a private, tranquil retreat nestled among regenerating native trees with views over bush clad hills. 8kms north of Upper Hutt. 1km to Remutaka Cycle Trail, and Pakuratahi mountain bike trails, 3kms to Te Marua Golf Course and Wellington Speedway. A great base for outdoor activities, or just a quiet weekend get away from city life without having to travel for hours. Upper Hutt City has many restaurants, fast food outlets and Brewtown, a destination for craft beer lovers.

Our rural shed is a spacious self-contained getaway with sun and views of the surrounding countryside. It is best suited for 2 guests, but can accomodate 4, with a queen size bed upstairs and a fold-out sofa in the living room. A fold out bed is available for children. We stock the kitchenette with free range eggs, locally made bread, homemade jam, butter, milk, tea and coffee. There’s a BBQ available. We’re 5 minutes walk to the Carterton shops and near the railway station.

Our self-contained, double-glazed, fully insulated compact cabin is well appointed. It stands alone on our lifestyle property, private from our house with fabulous views to the Remutakas. There is an outdoor covered BBQ area. Relax in the ~bath~ under the stars. We have a small dog (Lucy), sweet barky Huntaway (Ruby), donkeys (Phoebe, Anna & Lily) & August (cat). All very friendly. A little bit rustic - a little bit cute - a little bit romantic. Our Cottage is just a 4 minute drive from the heart of Martinborough and is set amongst our Olive Grove. Soak in the outdoor bathtub and enjoy the stunning night sky. Or enjoy a BBQ and relax by the outdoor fire on your private patio. Better yet, grab the picnic blanket and find a nice spot and have a drink under the olive trees. Come and spoil yourself!

Semi -Detached Studio

A bright sunny semi detached studio that has a separate entrance, its own kitchen and bathroom. The bed is a comfortable day bed ( king single) which coverts to a full King sized bed when two guests are welcomed. Double French doors open onto a sunny courtyard for guests to enjoy and relax in. The studio is next to the pool which is available for use in the summer. Full cooking facilities. No pets with guests please.
