Situated in the shadow of the South Downs National Park on a small rural road with hardly any neighbours our charming cottage is a great place from which to explore the unspoiled open countryside and its many footpaths around us. The nearest street light is two miles away. Owls, deer and the occasional nightingale are the only sounds in the middle of the night The cottage décor is fresh and modern with plenty of parking and a small decking area. The Hideaway Sussex - Cottage

The Cottage is a self-contained annexe within the grounds of our home but separate from the main house. It has its own entrance, small garden, patio area & parking for one car only. The cottage is a great place to stay while you explore the beautiful Sussex countryside and coast. The historic town of Lewes is within a 10-minute drive, Uckfield 10 minutes, & Brighton is 30 minutes away. Trains: From London-Uckfield/Lewes We also have 2 shepherd's huts which use the same driveway as the Cottage.

This beautiful, newly renovated, studio barn is a perfect break for couples, families, walkers, cyclists and runners alike. Mainline station with direct trains to Gatwick and London Victoria. DOGS are only allowed if booked in, at a charge of £15 per stay. No cats.

Adjacent to the South Downs National park, with a pub/restaurant close by and easy access to Lewes and Brighton. Bear in mind we aren't served by good public transport. There is instant access to beautiful countryside footpaths and bridleways. We are walking distance from a pub with a garden and good home-cooked food. Just an hour from London by train and 10 minutes drive from buzzy, cosmopolitan Brighton, we're also close to lots of pretty villages, lovely beaches, beautiful historic houses and gardens.

Beautiful barn on the South Downs Way

Beautiful barn, perfect for walkers, also great as a comfortable and spacious base for exploring the local countryside. Local cultural attractions include Glyndebourne, Drusilla's Park, South Downs Way. This spacious artist's home is located right on the South Downs Way, and it is only about an hour and a half walk to the coast at Exceat. There is a tree house for kids, a couple of swing seats for chilling out on, and the Cuckmere runs through the bottom of the garden.

The barn has been recently restored to provide 1000 sq ft of luxurious accommodation with wonderful views across the wheat fields to the west. Gatwick is less than 30 mins by car and London a further 45 by train.
