Enjoy sunset from the front porch, evening by the fire or sit under the stars around the fire pit. The cottage is directly across from the rail trail, skatepark, playground and showgrounds and is family and dog friendly.

With direct access to BP dam, it's an easy stroll down to the water's edge, have a dip to cool off, take out a kayak or even launch the boat. Sit around the fire pit and enjoy the sunset and when night falls the stars come out and its absolutely stunning. Explore around the edges of BP dam to see turtles, countless species of birds and other wildlife. Take a drive around the wineries or the many beautiful small towns surrounding us.

We have 4 dogs on the property, and they love meeting our guests. There is no separate fence around the cottage. We live in the main house but screening provides privacy. Collect your fresh eggs every morning, and any seasonal herbs, fruit or vegetables. Indoor fireplace and outdoor fire pit.

Wicklow Cottage is a renovated country cottage situated on a working farm approximately 12 min north of Kingaroy, near the village of Wooroolin. It is a quiet location yet close to town and near the rail trail. You can choose to base yourself here to explore the area or just chill out on the verandah with a good book, a glass of local wine, enjoying the view. Some guests stay while on short term work assignments. 2 pm checkout on Sundays for weekend bookings
