A beautiful oak framed building with great views of the south downs. Accommodation comprising of a comfortable lounge with TV and wifi and log burner. Hucksteps is a medieval, 3 bedroom/2 bathroom house centrally located in the Citadel of Rye. Facing St Mary’s Church, the house is surrounded by cobbled streets, period architecture, literary associations, stunning coastline, and vibrant culture. Camber's sandy beaches and dunes are an easy walk/cycle/drive away. A High Street full of independent shops, restaurants, inns, art galleries, Kino cinema, Rye Spa Retreat, tea rooms are round the cobbly corner.

We recently converted an outbuilding into a two bedroom house. The house is detached and purpose built. We aimed to create a space that was bright, airy and incorporated the gorgeous woodland and farmland around us. When you stay with us you can expect to be in a peaceful rural setting with stunning views which can be admired from either the patio or through the large bifold doors leading from the main living area. The barn is secluded and views from the rest of the house are of fields and woodland surrounding the property. The deck down by the pond is the perfect spot to soak up the sun or take a cool dip. Gather around the fire pit at night to keep warm whilst having drinks or toasting marshmallows.
