Take it easy in this tranquil accommodation in our farm, with a peaceful view ! The cottage can welcome up to 6 people, although 4 is the most comfortable. Nicely located, it is about one hour by car from Reykjavik, from the Golden circle and from Vík's black sand beaches. It is 15min away from Hella's bus station, which allows you to visit Lanmannalaugar. The farm has animals roaming around, and also offers riding tours. Its owners are always happy to share a lovely riding experience !

Gamla Húsið - The Old Farm-House

Gamla húsið is in Kirkjuferjuhjaleiga horse-farm, located in the south of Iceland, 35km -from Reykjavík in Ölfus and 3min. drive off Route 1. Perfect as either the starting point for an exploration of southern Iceland or as a base since it is close to the Golden Circle and a few hours drive to the glaciers and black sands of the south.
