Sit in the private, sunny garden area and take in the magnificent views over the ancient CoquetValley. Explore beautiful beaches, historic castles and wonderful countryside and end the day by a log-burning stove in the lounge. During the summer months enjoy a glass of wine or a BBQ in the pretty cottage garden. Our comfortable converted barn is the perfect base to explore the coast and countryside of Northumberland. Comfortable and stylish living room/kitchen with working log burner. (photos were taken before the flue was fitted) Well equipped kitchen area with dishwasher, washing machine, fridge freezer and granite work surfaces. Lovely kingsized bedroom, oak flooring, quality linen and towels supplied with complimentary toiletries . Pretty country style bathroom with bath and shower over. Children are very welcome and we can supply a cot (no linen) and a high chair for babies, a z- bed with linen for older children is available at no extra charge. There is a very comfortable sofa bed with a pocket sprung mattress in the living area which will sleep 2 adults for the odd night or a short break. One well behaved dog welcome £10 extra charge Guests have their own private garden and west facing seating area and access to plenty of parking. There is also an extra lawned area separate from the owners garden if they wish to use it for BBQ or children playing Free membership for 4 guests (adults or children) at the nearby Linden Hall Hotel for the spa and leisure club is available for guests during their stay. There is a swimming pool, sauna, a small gym and hot tub and there are often some discounts on spa treatments. There is also a golf club but this is not included in the membership and green fees apply. We want our guests to have their privacy but are friendly and welcoming and happy to help and provide information during their stay. Swallowtails barn is in a farming hamlet outside the pretty village of Longframlington. There are lovely country walks on the doorstep Take an easy stroll to reach good pubs serving food an award-winning grocery shop, artisan bakery and coffee shop. Then drive along pretty winding lanes to explore the beautiful beaches and villages on the Northumberland coast. Visit historic castles at Alnwick and Bamburgh or spend a day at nearby Cragside Hall and gardens Excellent butchers also in village There is plenty of parking on site. It is an easy walk to the village, taking about 15 minutes and there is a local taxi available operated by one of the neighbours which can be very useful. Regular buses run to Alnwick and Morpeth There is a mainline station at Alnmouth approx 10 -15 mins drive Swallowtails is adjoining the owners property but has its own separate entrance garden and seating area. Studio @ The Gubeon

A self contained, compact studio apartment located within my home, with a private secure entrance. We are 3 miles from Morpeth town centre and easily reached from the main A1 and A696. It is a double bedroom with en-suite shower and toilet. The apartment has its own kitchen with facilities/utensils for self catering (hob & microwave oven). There is a sofa and dining area with digital smart tv. There is tea and coffee provided along with fresh milk, butter,breakfast cereals and sliced bread.

The towns of Alnwick ( the castle having featured in the Harry Potter film) and Rothbury are also 20 min away and well worth a visit. Stunning beaches and miles of coastline are only 25 min away.The hosts are only to happy to provide advice and information.

Skylark Seaview Studio

Welcome to our self-contained hilltop studio surrounded by fields and panoramic views over the Northumbrian coast. A place to unwind and reconnect with nature. Located within walking distance of a remote outstretched beach and just a few miles from the coastal village of Alnmouth and historical village of Warkworth. Alnmouth train station is only a 5 minute drive. From here you can travel directly to Edinburgh in 1 hour. The studio features an open plan sleeping/ living area with a kitchen.

Lee View Situated in a small rural hamlet of just a few houses, on a hill with spectacular scenery. We have tried to make the cottage a home from home with everything you'll need. Ideal for walkers and cyclists, as well as those wanting to visit the many historic sites and country houses in Northumberland. Lee View is just a 10 minute drive from Rothbury with a Co Op and a variety of other shops. We are 25 minutes from Morpeth and Alnwick. Please note- there are no walkable pubs or shops.

The coast is about 30 minutes away, plenty of National trust buildings and interesting gardens within an hour including Alnwick Castle & gardens (Harry Potter/Downton Abbey film location), Cragside, Wallington etc Well and comfortably furnished. Wifi. A good place for couples and solo adventurers. Matfen hall and Vallum 5 miles or so away if you are coming to a wedding

A wonderful spot from which to explore the rugged Northumbrian coastline, idyllic countryside and magnificent, enchanted castles. Wildhope View is a cosy, romantic retreat with spectacular views of the rolling hills of the Aln valley and the, “18 arches” viaduct built in 1849 by Robert Stephenson.

The Black Triangle Cabin

The Black Triangle Cabin is a peaceful getaway situated on our property just outside of Jedburgh, a historic town in the heart of the Scottish Borders. The Cabin sleeps 2 people in a king size bed, with a separate living/kitchen space boasting views through the woods and across the fields. If you keep an eye out, you may see the deer that pass through regularly, or even hear our resident owl. Ideally located only an hour from Edinburgh, Newcastle and the St Abbs coastline.

Swinburne Castle

Swinburne Castle is perfectly situated within its own beautiful parkland and gardens. Traditionally decorated, parts of the house have tremendous history dating back to the 12th century. The east wing is extremely comfortable and private, and don't be perturbed by the stone steps leading down to the vaulted cellar. In the mornings you can look forward to a delicious breakfast in the formal dining room. There is ample parking and a tennis court you are welcome to use.

The Granary, Old Town Farm, Otterburn

The Granary is located on a working farm in the heart of Northumberland's International Dark Sky Park. It has kitchen/living area upstairs to make the most of the fabulous views. This cottage has access to a nearby EV car charger Changeover day for week- long stays is a Friday It is a perfect hideaway for two with a cosy log burning fire, original beams, real wood floors and a lovely flower-filled garden. Great for friends sharing too, having 2 separate bathrooms
