Fully-restored 1850s German Home in Downtown NB |B

This is the back unit of a fully-restored 1850s German home in downtown New Braunfels. The footprint became a duplex in the 1930s and we left it as such. The living room contains a "truth window" - a section where we left the original German fachwerk exposed for those who admire old homes to see some of the original settlers' handiwork. This property is right downtown - restaurants and bars are walking distance from the house. Also close to Schlitterbahn, the Comal river, and The Float In.

Walking distance to everything in downtown New Braunfels. Constructed in mid 19th century, this historic structure is the site of the first telegraph office in New Braunfels. The Telegraph Station sleeps up to 4. These units are Texas Registered Historic Landmarks. Built in 1846, they are positioned in an ideal location to take advantage of tubing, shopping, downtown restaurants, and local bars. Newly remodeled in 2018, the original fachwerk walls have been exposed to show off its charm.

Second bedroom has a king sized bed and living room has a queen sized sleeper sofa. Direct river access with two neighboring tubing outfitters this great condo is just a couple blocks off the downtown square.

This family home includes 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, kitchen, dining room, den and a laundry room. The master bedroom has a queen bed. Small bedrooms have full size beds with one twin bunk. There is also a sofa bed in the den. Parking is limited (3 cars max). The location is easy to find and easy to get around. Wifi and streaming television is provided.
