Situated at the township road end, Gillen 1&2 is accessed a short way along a track offering privacy and remoteness. The perfect retreat for walking, relaxing or family getaway, with lounge (cosy wood-burner), dining kitchen, two en-suite bedrooms and large hallway with library/seating area. Solas is set off the main road in a private and secluded area. It is situated in the south of Skye on the Sleat peninsula. The cottage is situated 5-10mts north of the ferry terminal at Armadale. It is also about 20mts from the bridge meaning it is easy to explore the north of Scotland as well as Skye itself. Solas is a short drive to shops, pubs, restaurants, cafes and a 5minute walk to the Torabhaig Distillery. Past the distillery is a lovely walk down to Knock Castle and the beach.

Locally we are in walking distance to Toravig distillery we have private access to knock beach and are situated 10 mins drive to Armadale ferry service.Broadford the second largest township on the island is a 15min drive from us .

Angels' Share self catering on the Isle of Skye

Angels’ Share is an architect designed contemporary cottage over looking Knock Bay and the ruins of Knock Castle. There is spacious accommodation for two people, with room for two small children on a sofa bed (a cot is also available for infants). The cottage is situated on the Sleat peninsula known as the Garden of Skye. The cottage is not far from from the Skye Bridge and the mainland ferry ports. It makes a great base for exploring the whole of Skye's beautiful scenery.

Gael is a modern cabin on a working croft, which captures uninterrupted views over Portree bay, Ben Tianavaig and the Cuillin hills in the far distance.
