This is one of our favourite places to have a drink in Northcote. It's also one of Melbourne’s oldest and prettiest pubs, housed in a former church. Cool beer garden out the back as well.

You can start on the Merri Creek Trail anywhere along the way. The trail is easy to follow - just follow the creek - you really cannot get lost. It goes through many of the northern suburbs including Northcote, Fitzroy, Brunswick and Coburg.

When the sun is out people flock to "Eddie Gardens" Grab a picnic or get lunch from one of the food trucks on the weekends. Very much a hangout spot for those in Fitzroy and surrouding areas.
