INCREDIBLE wood fired pizza.  The owner also makes delicious cannoli that aren’t too sweet. They’re just perfection.

Outside of my neighborhood, this is a fun little informal venue to choose when no one can decide what they want. Lot’s of great food vendors and more and more fun retail in the area.

Sightseeing
On Saturday and Sunday the outdoor flea market has lots of great art and vendors selling their wares, and there's a pottery studio in the basement of the market where I actually throw (entrance is down stone stairs on the South end of the building.. the C street side). During the week (Tues-Fri) it's just the grocery/food vendors inside of the market. (see separate listing for market lunch)

These guys never disappoint with their installations. Really a gem of the city. Part of the Smithsonian and free.

One of the few pay museums in the city, but worth every penny. Every visit is a pleasure.

This museum is an under-appreciated delight. I do believe there's an entrance fee but it was well worth it.
