Another favorite movie theater is the new Kino theater. Very comfortable chairs and a good kitchen as well.

The big open air market is here on Tuesdays and Saturdays. The 'street' closest to my house is where second hand goods are sold. That's one of my favorite activities, to search for treasure there!

So much choice here, so close to home. Many cheap but good Italians, the lovely Fish Market restaurant, expensive but great Umami, Jamies Italian in the Market Hall and my favorite: great Vietnamese at Little V restaurant.

The best street to have a drink at night, at the 'Witte Aap' for example. Or the Hartmanstraat, around the corner, has two great bars too, with my favorite 'Tiki' bar!

Such a treat to visit this restored 1950's cruise ship! You can walk around on it, have a drink or something to eat or just enjoy the free view from the back deck.
