Being 2.5km from the unit, the adventurous can walk the distance along the beachside boardwalk (30min), or hire a bike from the lobby for a 10 min ride, or alternatively make the short drive (5 min). The surf club also has a courtesy bus available.

A super cool day trip, one hour drive South of the unit to the entrance of Byron Bay. The Farm is an awesome place for lunch, with the restaurant literally located on an 80 acre farm where they grow a significant part of their produce onsite. Kids and adults will love the experience of strolling round the grounds before or after lunch. There is a rooster that hangs out in the garden next to the restaurant and will let the kids pat him! Please please please check restaurant service hours before you go, they tend to change seasonally. Best to take the Tweed Coast Way for the nice coastal drive there.
