local seafood right on the docks...straight forward american food...good burgers! They have a menu of 1/2 price food for happy hour-including peel and eat local key west shrimp (4:-30-6:30 pm)

One of the best spots on the island----famous for breakfast --think lobster benedict or banana pecan pancakes--- dinner is more upscale while still casual -the yellowtail snapper with a citrus buerre blanc sauce, angel hair pasta and fresh corn is one of the most beloved food experiences on the island. Enjoy eating outdoors under a huge banyan tree with live local music and play ping pong while you wait for a table (and you most likely will). If you're on a budget just go for a cocktail at the outdoor bar.

Dolphins! Many of my guests see dolphins from Recess and want to see more....Small groups of passengers aboard this classic key west boat with an awesome crew that knows where to visit with wild dolphins and learn about nature. They take you snorkeling too!

Locals favorite beach. Trees for shade and picnic tables for relaxing, writing postcards and picnics! You can snorkel around the piles of rocks and see some fish- masks and fins are for rent on the beach. There is a simple cafe for snacks, sandwiches and drinks. You can walk through the fort which is interesting for history buffs. A beautiful sunset view with all the sailboats going by but be aware the rangers will ask you to leave promptly after it sets. Costs $2.50 for the day.
