Neuschwanstein is very touristic but really unique, its like cinderellas castle..I have been there with guests very often.

Furthermore afterwards you can eat something on the Forggensee. For me a better place with less tourists is the "Hopfensee" not far away. There you have a nice restaurant directly on the lake:

You can make an easy and nice hike/ walk from Ammersee to Kloster Andechs, drink their own beer, have bavarian food & enjoy the view.
