Truckee, CA. is +/- 30 minutes away. It's been featured in numerous articles as one of the top 10 towns to live in for a variety of reasons. There are restaurants off all types, shopping for the entire family, museums, art galleries, in essence something for everyone.

Tahoe City is approximately 15 minutes away. Like many of the towns the surround the Lake, it's quaint, full of restaurants and shopping for every taste, has an abundance of night life et al.

Parks & Nature
If you've never experienced Tahoe, you're in for an amazing time/treat. If you have, you already know this is one of the prettier spots on Mother Earth. Depending on the season, you can hike, bike (on or off road). The mountain biking in this area is world class. Downhill, XC skiing, Snow Shoeing are also top shelf. There aren't many places I know where you can lay on a beach in the dead of Summer and be surrounded by snow capped mountains. We've all heard the saying that a picture is worth 1000 words. Virtually anyone with a camera will leave here w/some great photos, but one has to experience Tahoe to receive a full measure of the Tahoe Experience.

Incline Village is a small resort town that has everything you'd expect. Restaurants, night life, shopping and a host of outdoor activities.

Entertainment & Activities
If you'd like a taste of Vegas, South Lake Tahoe will scratch the itch. It's far more glitzy then Incline Village. Major acts perform at the hotel/casinos there.

Getting Around
Many of my guests drive here, but some do fly into Reno or Sacremento. There's also an small airport in Truckee. Rental cars would be available in all 3 spots.
There are also busses running during the day and early evenings.
