One of the smallest museums around! Tells the history of a meteorite that impacted around 200million years ago. Many of the local buildings are built with "meteorite impactive rocks" including the gites; these rocks were created when sand was infused by the impact of the meteorite hitting the earth and are very interesting in their structure.

Right on our doorstep; enjoy the experience of lake swimming in the warm waters just 3km from Gites Limousin. Only 5 minutes by car or, a lovely leisurely 30 minute stroll through the countryside. With a sandy beach, a little bistro in the summer months, pedalo's and a small childrens play area; you can quite easily spend a full day swimming, playing and sunbathing.

Only 5 minutes by car or, a lovely leisurely 30 minute stroll through the countryside. Great little local airport: Direct flights to numerous UK airports. Car rental available too. 45 minutes to us.

From smaller, set lunchtime menus, to wonderful 7 course full tasing menus in the evening; the experience will be one you do not forget. The setting is just so lovely; and the food is mesmerising in taste as well as looks.
