Don't go to any other Chinese in Edinburgh, this is the best. About 15 minutes' walk from the apartment. I recommend getting a carryout delivered. You won't regret it.

In my opinion the best pizzas in Edinburgh. About 5 minutes in a taxi from the apartment. Great thin based pizzas as well as a full menu of other delights. Or get a takeaway or they can deliver.

If you want something really special, book Afternoon Tea here. It costs £30 per person which is quite steep but it is delicious and the surroundings are extremely impressive. They also do lunches. The Signet Library is in the heart of Edinburgh, just off the High Street, next to St. Giles Cathedral. About 15 minutes' walk from the apartment.

Go out of the apartment turn left along Northumberland Street until you reach Dundas Street and catch a 23 bus to Morningside. Ask the driver where to get off. Or ask me for a lift. You'll love this cinema - small screens but lovely comfy sofas to sit on and in cinema 1, the seats even recline! Worth a visit if you fancy a film.
