Decent food at a great price. You are also helping a great cause. The service here can sometimes be lacking because of the staff, but the price makes up for it. A good place to go if you tired.

Great place and great sushi. On the Embarcadero so you have great views. The cocktails are also fabulous. Highly recommended if you like sushi.

Quintessential tourist trap, but worth a quick look. The sea lions are usually on the back side of the pier. You can smell them a mile away. Fun for the kids.

A San Francisco original!!! Nothing fancy, just good food at reasonable prices. My personal favorite is the eggplant parmigiana. The portions are huge so be careful.

Here on a clear day? This is the best public golf course for spectacular views. it is not very well maintained, but the views on the 17th are breathtaking. Try hitting one in to the ocean on the 17th

Looking for a pick up game of tennis? There are a couple or courts and you can pick up a game here on occasion. They have a wall next to the courts so you can at least get a workout on the wall.

This is your closest grocery store. Enter the parking lot on Townsend street and enter the parking lot on the right hand side. Take a ticket and remember to validate it. It is good for 90 minutes.

Check out the heart of the city. It is in the middle of the fashion district close to all of the best shopping and some of the best restaurants. It is a 30 minute walk from my place or a 15 minute cab

Only a few blocks away. If the Giants are away, bring the kids to the back part of the stadium. The park is open to kids. They can slide down the Coca Cola bottle and use the mini t-ball stadium. Fun!

From Union Square, look for Grant Street and the door to China town. Grant street is great for tourists, but one block up is Stockton. That is where the locals shop. Not too many trinkets on Stockton

Worth a quick look. If you are hungry, eat at Fisherman's Grotto #9. It has been run by the Rinaldi family for 3 generations and the food is great!! They still make their own clam chowder.
