Murasaki Mura is a reproduction of Naha City during the 14th and 15th centuries, when Okinawa was the Ryukyu Kingdom. This cultural theme park, with red-tile roofs, stone walls and cobblestone streets, recreates scenes from the kingdom era. The park offers 32 workshops where visitors can try their hand at Okinawan shisa painting, ceramics, Ryukyu glass blowing, making coral wind chimes, dyeing cloth items and even karate. There is also a go-kart track on the premises. Some items may require additional processing; however, most crafts may be taken home on the same day.
