This mosque is named after the mother of Jesus (a.s.), Maryam a.k.a. Mary. The building also once a church but became a Mosque once it was bought by the local Muslim community of Hoppers Crossing. It's one of the most active mosques in area with youth events and childrens occurring very often. There was even Dodgem Cars during last Eid. Good spot to meet the local Muslims community.

It is located at the birthplace of the Australian Flying Corps and the Royal Australian Air Force. There are permanent displays, hangars, galleries, restoration projects, changing exhibitions and even interactive flying displays at 1pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. You can also inquire about joining a guided tours conducted by RAAF Museum trained volunteer host officers on weekdays. The Museum is opened from 10am to 3pm on weekdays and 10am to 5pm on weekends and public holiday, except Mondays, Good Friday and Christmas Day. Donations are welcomed and photo identification is required for all visitors over the age of 16 to gain entry to the Base.
