A trip to San Antonio isn't complete without remembering the Alamo. The Alamo Mission once stood as a converted fortress that fell in 1836 during the Texas Revolution at the Battle of the Alamo. I also highly recommend going to the IMAX theater before going to the Alamo and watching, "Alamo: The Price of Freedom" to really get the most out of your visit to the Alamo.

Thousands of years in the making and features some really phenomenal caves that look like something out of this world. You will think that you have entered the world of The Hobbit or expect to find a cave entrance to Wayne Manor. For a more adventurous experience, check out multi-story obstacle courses where you'll learn to use some professional rope techniques used by cavers for traversing, ascending, and descending within the cave. Above ground offers just as much adventure with a 60-foot high ropes course.
