Uherske Hradiste has a lovely historic centre with lots of churches, public library (situated in an old synagogue), beautiful train station, fountains, column of the plague. There are many bars, restaurants and cafés. You can go to the cinema, museums, galleries, theatres or enjoy concerts in concert halls of Reduta. It is a very nice walk just through the city centre, even further along Morava river.

Velehrad is a famous pilgrimage place with a beautiful church. At Easter and other important Christian holidays there are celebrations that are attended by many faithful people.
