Sand Harbor is our favorite beach nearby! There are beautiful sandy beaches and rocks to climb around on. It is also a fabulous place for kayaking. There is a casual seasonal restaurant to grab snacks or lunch. There are also clean restrooms.

Monkey Rock is a fantastic hiking trail nearby. It has beautiful views nearly the whole way up, and a rock that looks exactly like a gorilla at the top.

The Tahoe East Shore Trail is a 3 mile paved bike path that runs along Lake Tahoe from Incline Village (where our house is) to Sand Harbor Beach. The trail has incredible lake and mountain views the whole way, and access to several hidden beaches (including “Hidden Beach”) that are difficult to reach any other way. We love to rent bikes and ride this trail, and stop at all the scenic vistas and Hidden Beach along the way.
