Right here in Kanab, a max of 10 minutes away from Burro Flats High Desert Lodge. Almost all restaurants are locally owned and operated by families. Our Cuban restaurant is run by a Cuban family. Our Mexican restaurant is run by a Mexican family, and so on.
Wild Thyme Features artisan food. They even have an herb garden on site for their dishes. Locally owned and operated.

The road is along the top, so it is not necessary to hike in order to see the beautiful views, which are all along the east side of the road. Make sure to notice the ravens and Bristlecone pine! :-) Pronghorn antelope Sightings along interstate Highway 12 are common

A short hike of about a mile along a breathtaking mountainside. The cascade is only active during the warm months. But it’s still a nice hike even in the winter. Look for native Manzanita shrubs! Can be snowy in winter
